With the popularity of extreme sports, the concept of motorcycle racing has taken on a new meaning. From road racing to grand prix, motocross, supercross and freestyle racing, one thing’s for sure: if you’re racing, you’re going to fall off your bike once or more.

That said, today’s motorcycle racing suit and apparel are designed with this in mind, and they compensate you with the best possible protection in the event of an injury. The rule is to wear clothes that cover the most vulnerable parts of the body and not to leave asphalt or dirt behind.

Always drink before the race and always have a bottle or water bottle with you. Dehydration can kill you in your tracks.

Pace yourself: If you’re on a long walk, don’t push yourself as hard as you would if you were running.

Know the Course: You should always take at least one test for a new course. Surprises can be scary.
