These homemade McGriddles include protein pancakes made with four ingredients. buns, eggs folded in and your choice of healthier options such as chicken breakfast sausage. This recipe is simple with an average of 25 minutes to prepare and only 5 ingredients and is highly adaptable. I’ll guide you through the recipe in the following paragraphs and answer the modifications we make while we’re at it.

1 C (120g) Bisquick or Pancake Mix*

One scoop (31g) Vanilla PEScience Select Protein Powder

3/4 C (180g) Skim Milk (or your preferred milk)

1 tsp Maple Extract (optional)

4 Eggs large whisked

Instructions

Make a mixture of the pancake mix and protein powder before adding the maple extract. Stir until there are no dry ingredients remain.

A larger skillet or the griddle on medium-high heat and spray cooking. Once it’s hot, add 2 Tbsp of pancake batter in 8 smaller circles. You may need to cook two batches. When the pan is brown, then flip and cook for 60 to 90 seconds more.

To whisk the eggs, mix an egg in the bowl of a small size. In a saucepan, heat it to medium-low heat , using cooking spray. Pour the egg in and swirl the pan around to evenly distribute the egg throughout the pan. When the edges are cooked (10-15 minutes) Use a spatula made of rubber and fold the one side in the middle. The other half is folded over the top layer, creating a rectangle that is placed in the middle of the dish. Fold the one edge of the rectangle into the middle and then another making the shape of a square. Repeat for all 4 eggs. Cook 2 eggs in one go and then cut them in half for less time.

Recipe #3

INGREDIENTS

PANCAKES

2 cups self-rising flour

2 bananas, mashed

1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt

1.5 cups cashew milk unsweetened (or the milk of your choice)

1.5 Tbsp salted butter melted

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

2 eggs

2 TBSP sugar-free syrup

EGGS

16 eggs

Salt and pepper from kosher

BACON

16 slices of central cut bacon

8 pieces of Velveeta cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

BACON

1. Spread bacon in one sheet on baking tray and bake at 375 degrees for 13-15 minutes.

EGGS

1. Scramble 2 eggs using one teaspoon of salt from kosher and pepper.

2. Spray a non-stick pan or pans with cooking spray, and add the egg mixture.

3. Rotate pan until it forms an extremely thin and broad egg.

4. After the liquid has cooled Begin the folding process.

5. Fold top down, then bottom, left and right, to form an egg that has been folded.

6. Repeat this seven times.

PANCAKES

1. Mix baking powder, flour with cinnamon and baking powder in one large bowl.

Pancake > Bacon > Folded Egg > Cheese > Pancake

NOTES

The recipe can make 18 pancakes, which gives you with enough to make 8 breakfast sandwiches , and two additional pancakes.

Keep McGriddles within an airtight vessel. Then, microwave for about 60 seconds wrapped in a towel to heat.
