Are you moving soon? Then you can certainly use some packing tips! Moving is always very hectic, and you want this to happen as relaxed as possible. Therefore, we have listed several packing tips for you, so you do not have to think about them. You can visit https://delahayemoving.co.uk/office-removals-london/commercial-storage-london/ and find amazing services in very short time.

Clothing

Getting all your clothes out of your closet is a lot of work. You have to take it out first, fold it and pack it and then hang it back in the closet—too much work. Therefore, use a garbage bag. You can put these completely around the clothes with a hanger and all. You can then load them hanging in the removal van or in an elongated box. In the new house, you can immediately hang up the clothes with a clothes hanger and all and remove the garbage bag.

Crockery

Tableware is expensive, expensive and must therefore be properly packed. It is best to do this with towels and tea towels because they also have to be taken to the new home! This way, you kill two birds with one stone. Use the cloths as wrapping material for your crockery. An example is to stack several plates on top of each other. Think of 3 to 5 plates. Then wrap this with a towel or tea towel. You could pack this extra firmly by means of duct tape.

Glasses

Just like you can combine glass and tea towels, you can do this with glasses. However, Glassware is fragile, and you want to prevent it from breaking during the move. So put your socks on, glasses and cups! This keeps the glass protected, and your socks also have a place and a function during the move.

Pumps and bottles

If you move, everything that is currently in use will, of course, also be taken with you. You will, of course, not throw away fragrances, shampoo, shower fresh, and all kinds of other pumps and bottles. The bottles can easily open accidentally while moving. How do you solve this now? For example, you can do this with plastic wrap. Put a few layers on the cap, and you are assured that it stays closed!

Books

Books, notebooks, and paperwork are often one of the heaviest items you take with you during the move. If you want to transport this in, it can be very heavy. You can easily solve this by putting the books in a suitcase. You can transport these very easily, saving a lot of lifting work!

Cabinets and woodwork

Other heavy, fragile items are cabinets and dressers. These must also arrive safely in the new home or apartment without damage. To start, you can wrap it with plastic (protective) foil. This prevents the objects from being damaged. An additional advantage is that the drawers and doors remain firmly closed. You can then just leave non-breakable items in the closet. This saves packing and unpacking work!

Screws

Sometimes, you’ll need to take apart cabinets, dressers, and desks because they’re too big or heavy. Unfortunately, when you take these apart, you have many different screws. To sort this out as best as possible, we advise you to put it in bags and to provide the bag with a sticker stating which piece of furniture it belongs to. You can then get started with assembling a lot faster!

Cords and cables

Many appliances in the house have a cable. Think of the TV, computer, or modem connection. If you are going to move it, sometimes all cables have to be disconnected. If you want to connect everything again, it can often happen that you no longer know which cord belongs to which device or in which connection it had to go. By taking pictures of all cables, you know exactly where each cable belongs!

Distinguishing the boxes

Everything is finally packed, but what is the best way to organize all those boxes? The best way to do that is with stickers. The best tip we can give is to give the sticker a different color for each room. This way, you can easily put all boxes directly in the new home to unpack them.

I hope these tips help you a lot in packing. Furthermore, Suppose you want to buy protective packaging material like a mattress moving cover, TV bag, Rug storage bag, etc. for proper packing. In that case, you can easily get them from Britwrap at an affordable rate.
